Apple set to unveil new MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iPad Mini: Here’s what to expect!

Apple isn’t finished with its 2024 product launches yet. Following the September release of the iPhone 16 series, the tech giant is reportedly gearing up for another event on November 1, where new Mac hardware and iPads may be unveiled, according to Bloomberg.

The event is expected to showcase updated versions of the MacBook Pro, Mac mini, iMac, and a new iPad mini, which has not been updated since 2021. Here are five key highlights to anticipate:

1. MacBook Pro Spec Upgrade – M4 Chipset Expected
   After launching the M4 chipset in the iPad Pro earlier this year, Apple is likely to introduce the same upgrade for its 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. Rumors suggest that alongside the M4 chip, Apple will unveil more powerful variants, the M4 Pro and M4 Max.
2. M4 Pro and M4 Max Chips Likely Coming
   Apple typically rolls out more powerful chip variants shortly after introducing base models. This pattern was seen with the M1 series, which saw the launch of the M1 Pro and M1 Max following the M1 MacBook Air. A similar release is expected for the M4 series, with the M4 Pro and M4 Max aimed at enhancing performance for demanding tasks. The new Mac mini may also utilize the M4 Pro chip.
3. No Redesign for MacBook Pro
   Leaked videos suggest that the MacBook Pro will maintain its current design without a major overhaul. The focus will be on internal upgrades, with no changes to the external look or packaging.
4. Mac mini May Shrink in Size
   A redesigned Mac mini is anticipated, possibly shrinking to the size of the Apple TV 4K. This would be the first significant redesign for the Mac mini, which is expected to feature the M4 chip and may include additional USB-C Thunderbolt ports, while potentially omitting the full-sized USB-A port.
5. iPad mini 7 – A Long-Awaited Update
   The iPad mini last saw an update in 2021 with the iPad mini 6 featuring the A15 chip. Given its popularity, the iPad mini is overdue for a refresh. The iPad mini 7 is expected to include a new chipset and potentially support Apple’s latest intelligent features, marking a much-anticipated upgrade.
