North West recently teased Kim Kardashian about her lack of home-cooked meals, revealing that their family hasn’t enjoyed one in nearly two years. In a candid interview for Interview magazine, the 11-year-old took the spotlight, responding to various personal questions posed by her famous mother.
When Kardashian asked, “OK, serious question. How is my cooking?” North didn’t hold back, bluntly stating, “You haven’t cooked for us in a long time.”
She noted that the last time Kardashian cooked was two Halloweens ago, when she made mac and cheese. Kardashian chimed in, reminding North that she had also prepared fried chicken and cornbread.
“I’m a one-trick pony. Is that one meal good?” she asked. North confirmed it was tasty but added that her mom’s best dish is cucumbers with salt.
In another part of the interview, North expressed her love for cucumbers and salt, saying if she could eat only one thing for the rest of her life, it would be that or grilled onions. Kardashian humorously acknowledged her daughter’s fondness for grilled onions.
Earlier in June 2023, North’s younger sister, Chicago West, also poked fun at their mom’s cooking habits. During a school project, when asked about her mom’s best dish, Chicago jokingly wrote, “Mom doesn’t cook. She has a chef.”
Kardashian embraced the joke by sharing a picture of herself slicing a tomato for grilled cheese during a visit to the White House. The Kardashian family has always been open about their reliance on private chefs, especially for gatherings.
Their long-time chef, Khristianne Uy (Chef K), has previously discussed the family’s dining preferences, underscoring their busy lifestyle and love for gourmet meals.
