“Memon Confirms Government’s Commitment to Constitutional Amendments”

“If Fazlur Rehman has a draft, it should be included as well,” stated Sharjeel Memon. The Sindh Information Minister affirmed on Sunday that the government has the necessary support to implement constitutional amendments as needed.

Memon, a prominent figure in the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), emphasized the party’s commitment to collaboration, saying, “The PPP has always aimed to take everyone along.” Regarding JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, he added, “If he has a draft, it should be considered.”

He expressed concerns about a scenario where a few individuals could hold institutions hostage, noting that the PTI is preoccupied with internal divisions.

In a separate matter, senior PPP leader Shazia Marri recently criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, labeling him as “mentally unstable.”

At a press conference in Islamabad, Marri said, “Gandapur has used foul language towards journalists. Appointing him as chief minister is unjust for the people of KP. He seems intent on creating a situation reminiscent of the events of May 9.”

Marri condemned the PTI founder for supporting Gandapur’s remarks instead of opposing them, stating, “The PTI founder has only contributed to unrest in the country.”

She expressed concern over the troubling situation in KP, saying, “While the PPP has never favored governor’s rule, the current circumstances could lead to it.”

Continuing her criticism of Gandapur, she remarked, “Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has suggested that Afghanistan keep Ali Amin Gandapur there.”
