Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s escalating aggression in the Middle East, citing concerns over increasing violations of international law. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the spokesperson expressed alarm over Israel’s relentless attacks on civilian areas, which have led to significant instability.
“For several days now, Israeli forces have carried out unacceptable breaches of Lebanon’s sovereignty, targeting civilian populations and threatening the nation’s security and stability,” the spokesperson stated. The Ministry extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the Lebanese people impacted by these aggressions.
The statement further condemned Israel’s latest move, describing the killing of Hezbollah’s Secretary General in Lebanon as a serious escalation in an already tense and volatile region. “This reckless act represents a new level of escalation, further endangering peace in the Middle East,” MOFA remarked.
Pakistan reaffirmed its solidarity with Lebanon, calling for immediate international action. “We urge the United Nations Security Council to intervene and halt Israel’s aggressive behavior, which violates international law and threatens regional stability,” the spokesperson added.
Pakistan continues to stand firmly with Lebanon and remains committed to supporting peace efforts in the Middle East, the statement concluded.
