Two Killed in Shooting Outside Islamabad Judicial Complex

Islamabad: Two people were killed and one injured in a shooting outside the Judicial Complex in Islamabad, according to reports. The deceased have been identified as Syed Tafseer Haider and Nazir, while the injured individual is named Nadeem.

The incident reportedly began when a group from one party opened fire following the release of members of the opposing party from court. This altercation underscores ongoing tensions between rival groups within the judicial setting.

In a related incident earlier, one person was killed and another injured when unidentified assailants fired at the judicial complex in Lakki Marwat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.

Police confirmed the Lakki Marwat shooting and announced the arrest of one individual connected to the incident. The body of the deceased and the injured person were transported to a district headquarters hospital for treatment.

These incidents highlight a troubling trend of violence occurring within or near judicial premises across the country.

Recently, in Lahore, two individuals facing murder charges were shot dead outside a sessions court, further emphasizing concerns about security in legal environments.

Such acts of violence raise alarms about the safety of individuals involved in legal proceedings and the integrity of the judicial system.

As tensions escalate, the need for enhanced security measures in and around court facilities becomes increasingly urgent. Authorities are being called to take swift action to address these alarming patterns of violence to ensure the safety of all individuals involved in legal matters.
