Actor Vaani Kapoor, who is set to share the screen with Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan in his highly anticipated Bollywood comeback, has lavished praise on him, describing him as a ‘phenomenal actor’.
Kapoor’s admiration for Khan was highlighted during a recent radio show appearance, where she spoke candidly about her excitement and respect for the acclaimed actor.
In the interview, Kapoor was asked about her forthcoming collaboration with Khan, and she expressed her deep admiration for his work.
She revealed that she is among the many fans of the Pakistani heartthrob, having followed his performances on various streaming platforms.
Kapoor noted, “I love his work. I’ve seen a couple of his shows on streaming platforms back in the days, on OTT, and I love him.”
Kapoor went on to elaborate on why she holds Khan in such high regard. She emphasized that Khan’s appeal lies in his exceptional talent and the artistic craft he brings to his roles.
“I think the audiences here in India have loved him for the artist that he is, the craft that he possesses, and the fact that he’s supremely talented as an artist,” Kapoor said. She underlined the importance of viewing artists for their individual contributions to their craft, rather than being swayed by external factors.
“I see an artist as an individual, for the work that they do. I admire that and I try to look at it in a way, barring all these xyz factors attached to anybody,” she added.
Kapoor’s sentiments reflect a deep respect for Khan’s ability and dedication to his art. She concluded her praise by stating, “One should see an artist for he or she is, and I respect that. I think he’s a phenomenal actor.”
Khan and Kapoor are reportedly cast together in an upcoming, yet-to-be-titled romantic comedy, which will be filmed entirely in the UK. In this film, directed by Aarti Bagdi, Khan is set to play the role of a British chef.
