A man from the United States has recently made headlines by setting a new Guinness World Record for constructing the tallest house of cards, achieving a remarkable 54 levels within just eight hours.
Bryan Berg, a renowned American card-stacking artist and architect, accomplished this impressive feat without the aid of wires, glue, or metal supports. His record-setting attempt was captured in a short video that was posted on the GWR’s official Instagram account, quickly gaining viral attention.
The video, which shows Berg meticulously building the towering card structure while a stopwatch counts down, ends with him placing a mobile phone on the top of the completed tower.
GWR’s Instagram post celebrated the achievement, stating, “Tallest house of cards built in 8 hours! Congratulations to Bryan Berg on his new record.”
To ensure stability during the construction, Berg worked in a nearly airtight room with controlled humidity levels. This careful preparation was crucial in maintaining the cards’ integrity throughout the process.
The success of his attempt garnered widespread praise from netizens, with one user commenting, “These are the kind of records I’m here for,” and another noting, “It looks like magic but it’s real.”
Berg’s latest achievement adds to his illustrious record in the world of card-stacking. He previously set the record for the tallest playing card structure multiple times, including a notable creation of three Macau hotels.However, this particular record was surpassed last year by India’s Arnav Daga.
