Funeral prayers were conducted across various cities in Punjab for the victims of the Musa Khel tragedy. The ceremonies were attended by relatives, locals, police officers, and other law enforcement personnel.
Borewala
In Borewala, funeral prayers were held for Shahbaz Bhatti and Qadir at the Janazgah. The service saw a significant turnout of citizens paying their respects.
Layyah
In Layyah, the funeral prayers were held for Ghulam Murtaza, who was killed in the Musa Khel incident and leaves behind three children. Also remembered were Mehboob Hussain, a resident of 140 TDA with six children, and Allah Bakhsh, from 165 TDA, who had five children. All the victims were cargo vehicle drivers. The four victims, including Ghulam Murtaza, Muhammad Zameer, Mehboob Hussain, and Allah Bakhsh, were buried in Chakok village. The funeral was attended by numerous police officers and local residents. Notably, Zameer Hussain was about to be married, and among the deceased were two brothers.
Khanewal
In Khanewal, funeral prayers were offered for two citizens who fell victim to the Musa Khel tragedy. Nadeem and Zia, who were cousins, were killed by terrorists while traveling back from Balochistan, where they had gone to buy grapes. A large number of residents attended their funeral, held in a nearby village.
Multan
In Multan, emotional scenes unfolded as the bodies of Muhammad Waseem and Asif, who were also victims of the Balochistan attack, were brought to their ancestral home. Their relatives reported that the bodies were in a state of neglect, and they criticized the lack of government response. The relatives called on the authorities to bring the terrorists to justice.
Taunsa Sharif
In Taunsa Sharif, the funeral prayer for Muhammad Khan, who was martyred in Kalat while en route to a recruitment for the Frontier Constabulary (FC), was held in his native area of Basti Gadi. Muhammad Khan was the youngest of four brothers and had eagerly awaited joining the Pakistani Army. His death while traveling to his recruitment has deeply affected his family.
