The event was organized to honor the top achievers from various educational boards in Punjab, celebrating their exceptional performances and contributions.

At the ceremony, the students were honored with a guard of honour provided by a contingent of the Punjab Police.

During her speech, the Chief Minister announced the initiation of a significant scholarship program with a budget of Rs25 billion.

Additionally, she confirmed the revival of the laptop scheme, which is designed to equip students with essential technological tools necessary for their educational endeavors.

Maryam Nawaz also addressed the issue of transportation for students in underserved areas by announcing the provision of 61 buses to tehsils lacking adequate transport facilities.

This initiative is expected to improve accessibility for students and ensure they have the means to attend educational institutions regularly.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister presented cash prizes totaling Rs58.6 million and certificates of appreciation to 138 position holders from nine educational boards in Punjab.

These awards were given not only to the students but also to their teachers, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and significant role in the students’ achievements.

This gesture reflects the government’s commitment to celebrating and supporting academic excellence and fostering a culture of achievement and recognition in education.
