The announcement came via a brief message posted on Trump’s Truth Social platform, which stated, “ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow.”
This development follows Trump’s recent efforts to maintain his visibility and relevance in the lead-up to his presidential campaign for a second term.
Notably, Trump had earlier invited Adin Ross, a popular internet gamer, to his Mar-a-Lago estate. This move was seen as part of his strategy to engage with younger, online audiences and keep his campaign in the public eye.
The interview with Musk will take place on social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, which is owned by Musk.
X has been noted for its support of conservative content creators and for fostering discussions around various conspiracy theories.
The platform’s role in promoting conservative viewpoints aligns with Trump’s broader media strategy.
In recent months, Musk had been a vocal supporter of Trump, at one point pledging to contribute tens of millions of dollars to Trump’s campaign.
However, Musk recently revised his pledge, stating that he would contribute at a significantly lower level.

Trump, however, has rejected the proposal to debate on ABC, citing what he describes as misconduct by the network.
Instead, he has suggested holding the debate on September 28 with Fox News, reflecting his ongoing preference for platforms that are perceived as more sympathetic to his viewpoints.
