In the UAE, women looking for a serene and secure environment to enjoy the sun and sea can find solace in private beaches.
These exclusive spaces cater to women’s needs, providing a tranquil setting where they can unwind without worrying about modesty or safety.
Recently, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, introduced the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033. This initiative aims to transform Dubai into the world’s premier city for living.
As part of this strategy, 200 projects and initiatives are planned, including expanding the length of night swimming beaches by 60% and establishing new beaches exclusively for women.
More relaxing and liberating
Numerous women find solace at women-only beaches, where they can relish the sea without male presence. This enhanced comfort fosters a more serene and empowering outing.
Injeel Moti, a regular visitor to the Dubai Ladies Club Beach, expressed, “I favor women-only beaches for the privacy they offer. I feel more at ease wearing a swimsuit.”
She further noted, “Another benefit is the chance to connect with other women in these settings, as I have the opportunity to meet new acquaintances.”
Preserving privacy
Zahra Al Tamimi, a resident of Abu Dhabi, remarked, “Women-only beaches serve as dedicated recreational spots, ensuring privacy for women to engage in various water sports and leisure activities effortlessly.”
As a social media influencer, Zahra frequently receives inquiries about beaches exclusively for women.
