Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has confirmed that 33 civilians have been martyred and 62 others injured in recent Indian attacks, describing the toll as the tragic cost of continued aggression.
Speaking to the international media, the military spokesperson stated, โThatโs the cost we have paid.โ He added, โEach and every drop of blood is etched into the conscience of the armed forces, the people, and the state of Pakistan.โ
Lt Gen Chaudhry linked Indiaโs escalatory behavior to its frustration over the recent downing of a French-made Rafale fighter jet by the Pakistan Air Forceโa loss he said had visibly rattled New Delhi.
Warning of broader implications, the DG ISPR cautioned that Indiaโs actions were endangering regional stability and placing global peace at risk.
