Honda has refreshed its 2026 Accord with small but meaningful updates. The changes focus on tech upgrades, styling refinements, and slight price adjustments. Overall, the eleventh-generation Accord remains largely unchanged in performance.
Despite minimal changes, Honda has addressed one of the main complaints from the previous model. Lower trims now feature a larger infotainment screen, improving usability for drivers and passengers. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger are now standard.
Improved Screens and Interior Features
All 2026 Accords, including the base LX and SE trims, now receive a 9-inch touchscreen. This is a notable improvement over previous small displays on lower trims. Wireless phone projection and 15-watt device charging further enhance convenience.
The SE trim also gains a larger 19-inch five-spoke wheel design. These minor upgrades refine the driving experience without altering performance.
Sport Hybrid Gets Sleek Styling
The Sport Hybrid receives new black exterior accents for a modern look. Gloss-black B-pillar trim, black decklid badges, black wing mirrors, and a shark fin antenna are added. These subtle changes differentiate the hybrid models while maintaining the Accordโs classic design.
Powertrains Remain the Same
No changes have been made to the Accordโs engines. The LX and SE trims retain the 1.5-liter turbo-four engine with 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid trims continue with Hondaโs two-motor hybrid system, producing 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque.
Fuel efficiency remains impressive, with the EX-L Hybrid achieving up to 48 mpg combined. The turbocharged non-hybrid trims maintain a 32 mpg combined rating.
Updated Pricing Across Trims
Pricing for the 2026 Accord has risen slightly across the lineup:
-
LX 1.5T/CVT โ $29,590 ($100 increase)
-
SE 1.5T/CVT โ $31,890 ($135 increase)

EX-L Hybrid โ $36,290 ($155 increase)
-
Sport-L Hybrid โ $36,680 ($110 increase)
-
Touring Hybrid โ $40,645 ($150 increase)
The increases are modest, keeping the Accord competitive in the midsize sedan segment. Even the fully loaded Touring Hybrid remains reasonably priced compared to rivals.
The 2026 Honda Accord focuses on smarter technology, subtle hybrid styling, and user-friendly features. With minimal price increases, the refreshed Accord continues to offer strong value. These updates ensure the Accord stays relevant in the competitive midsize sedan market.
