Israel Launches Massive Nationwide Strikes on Hezbollah Targets Across Lebanon
Israel carried out its largest wave of strikes across Lebanon since the start of the war, targeting approximately 100 Hezbollah command centers and military infrastructure sites in a coordinated assault, according to Israeli military-linked reports.
The Israeli military said the operation unfolded over roughly 10 minutes and hit multiple locations across Lebanon simultaneously, marking one of the broadest and most intense bombardment campaigns since hostilities began.
Israeli officials described the strikes as a major escalation aimed at degrading Hezbollahโs operational infrastructure and disrupting the groupโs command-and-control capabilities.
Coordinated Assault Hits Multiple Regions
According to reports from Naya, Intel and the Israeli military, the strikes targeted Hezbollah positions in several areas at once, suggesting extensive planning and intelligence coordination.
Military analysts said the scale and timing of the operation indicate Israel sought to overwhelm Hezbollahโs defensive and communication networks through simultaneous attacks.
The bombardment reportedly focused on command centers, weapons depots and other infrastructure tied to Hezbollahโs military operations.
Regional Tensions Escalate Further
The strikes come amid growing uncertainty over the broader regional ceasefire framework, which Israeli officials have repeatedly said does not apply to Lebanon.
Israel has maintained that it will continue military operations against Hezbollah despite any pause in hostilities involving Iran.
Analysts warned that the scale of the operation could trigger a significant response from Hezbollah and further intensify fighting along the northern front.
The latest assault also reinforces concerns that while some regional actors pursue de-escalation, the Israel-Lebanon front remains highly volatile and separate from broader ceasefire efforts.
