Alisha Saleem, a 12-year-old Grade 7 student, officially launched her debut book, The Inner Reframe, in a special ceremony held today. The event was hosted by Seema Batool and attended by Shahrukh Nadeem from Book Buddy, Irum Raza Butt, Senior Mistress of Beaconhouse Margalla Campus Girls Branch, and other dignitaries.
Young Author Tackles Mental Health and Resilience
At just 12, Alisha has become one of Pakistan’s youngest published authors. Her book, The Inner Reframe, explores mental health, resilience, and personal growth, aiming to inspire young readers to cultivate a positive mindset. Minister Hanif Abbasi praised her courage for addressing such an important topic, while Shahrukh Nadeem commended her for motivating other young writers and readers to pursue their passions.
In a heartwarming gesture, Alisha announced that 10% of today’s book sales would be donated to families affected by recent floods in Pakistan. The initiative was well-received by guests and volunteers, who were also recognized with certificates for their support.
Ceremony Highlights and Book Availability
The launch event concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a group photo, and a book-signing session with Alisha herself. Guests received shields in recognition of their contributions to the event, celebrating both the young author and the cause she supports.
The Inner Reframe is now available for purchase online, with a portion of the proceeds going to support flood victims across Pakistan. Alisha’s achievement marks a remarkable milestone for young authors and highlights the power of youth to inspire change.
